Sugar-free Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Thanksgiving dinner just wouldn't be the same without it!

This sauce, from theperfectpantry.com, is meant to be made in a slow cooker. It's perfect for dorm room preparation or as a way to save stove top space. It can also be made a few days beforehand.

A History of Cranberries

Cranberries were first called "fen berries" by the settlers in New England. They grow in marshy areas along the coastal states and have an antibiotic quality. They are used to treat kidney and urinary tract infections.
