These are traditional mashed potatoes with a twist. It's taken from Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions.

Ingredients
6 potatoes, peeled
3 celery roots, peeled and cut up
2 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
pinch nutmeg
1/2 cup butter
1/2 to 1 cup piima cream or creme fraiche

Directions
- Boil the celery root pieces in water for about 30 minutes or until very tender
- Boil potatoes in water until tender
- Combine potatoes and celery root in a large pot
- Add garlic, nutmeg, butter and cream
- Mash ingredients with a handheld potatoes masher or...
- Puree the ingredients with a hand blender for a really smooth texture, optional
